Uniq Residences, Istanbul, 2015, Residential/Commercial

The architectural project which is planned to be built in Bayrampasa, Istanbul, is formed of two blocks which ascend on a base that forms the basement floors. The basement floor houses the social components that serve the residents of the gated community and its surroundings. The towers, that form the upper floors and function and residences, have been placed at different orientations in order to gain maximum advantage from the sun. In the facade, glass, natural stone and wood coating were used. The panels which were placed throughout the floors in a confounding fashion, provide a dynamic perception of the facade. These panels, which are different sizes, have been coded with a specific system for production ease, allowing for the variance in piece sizes to be minimized.
